Longitudinal Acceleration Controller

The longitudinal acceleration controller uses vehicle information (position, velocity, gear, engine speed, and so on) as feedback to control the longitudinal acceleration of the vehicle. The controller is able to control both positive (acceleration) and negative (deceleration) acceleration.
The longitudinal acceleration controller forms part of the Driving Machine that is used to control the majority of standard full-vehicle analyses.
