Center-of-Gravity Height of Vehicle Sprung Mass

Center-of-gravity height of the sprung mass of the vehicle.

Computed by:

SVCCGH

Input Variables Used:

All part identifiers in ARRAY statements 9901, 9903, and 9905.
Percentage sprung values for each part, from ARRAY statements 9902, 9904, and 9906.
The ground height (ght) and the global reference frame marker (gblm) from ARRAY/9910.

Method

SVC extracts from the data set the mass properties and the center-of-mass marker identifiers of all parts listed in ARRAY statements 9901, 9903, and 9905. SVC multiplies each mass property by the corresponding percentage sprung value and uses the result with displacements from the INFO utility subroutine to compute the sprung center of gravity.
