Import Assembly from Adams Explore Workbook

(Standard Interface) Tools → Explore → Import from Workbook

Import Assembly data from XLSX file

Import an XLSX workbook file and apply the information to an assembly model.

For the option:	Do the following:
Workbook Name	Enter the name of the workbook file (.xlsx) to read from.
Already Open Assembly / Assembly From Workbook	If selecting Assembly From Workbook, the assembly specified herein will be loaded into the Adams Car session prior to the data import. If Already Open Assembly is selected, the Assembly must be open and will be selectable in the assembly list.
If Already Open Assembly is selected, the following option menu will be available:
Assembly	Select from the list of assemblies, the assembly to import information to.
Select All	Enable this to enable import of all entity information available in the xlsx workbook. Does not include running of analyses.
Run Analyses	Select whether to run the analyses listed in the workbook “Analyses” sheet or not.
Write Workbook	Select if an output workbook containing plots and evaluated objective values (if applicable) shall be written to working directory.
Hardpoints	Enable this to import hardpoint information from the xlsx workbook.
Parameter Variables	Enable this to import parameter variable information from the xlsx workbook.
Splines	Enable this to import spline information from the xlsx workbook.
Mass Properties	Enable this to import general part and wheel information from the xlsx workbook.
Property Files	Enable this to import property file information from the xlsx workbook.
Ude Design Parameters	Enable this to import information about UDE design parameters from the xlsx workbook.
