Confidence Interval

The confidence interval, or confidence limits, measure uncertainty in an estimate. The confidence limits about the estimate contain the true value, with a specified level of confidence. For example, 95% confidence limits around the estimate of a regression coefficient mean that there is a 95% chance that the true value of the regression coefficient is within those limits.
