Follower Motion Construction

A Follower motion is a plot describing the displacement of Follower with respect to Time or Angle of Rotation of Cam.
The displacement of the follower is generally described using the following terms.
Rise
Return/Fall
Dwell
The following are some sample Follower motion curves:
The Follower motion can be defined either based on
Time
Cam Angle
The Follower motion can either be
Translational
Pivotal
The Follower motion can be created in 3 ways
Function Builder - To create a curve by appending functions (maximum of 21 functions) to create a follower motion curve.
The functions that can be involved are
Constant
Step
SHF (simple harmonic function)
Polynomial
Import Data Points - To import a .csv file which contains the X-Y data of the follower motion curve. An example data file format can be found in <topdir>\amachinery\examples\cam\follower_motion_builder.
Create Data Points - To manually input the X-Y data of the follower motion curve.
The Follower motion developed/imported/inputted can either be viewed in tabular form and as plot in the consequent page. The Acceleration and the Jerk of the Motion an also be viewed. The data if required can be optimized.
