Create/Modify Belt Segment Request for Poly - V, Trapezoidal (2D, 3D Links) and Smooth (3D Links Nonplanar)

Creates or modifies requests on belt segments for poly - v belts, trapezoidal belts and smooth belts. The requests return the following results:
 
Poly-V and Smooth Belts
axial_contact_force
Contact force between the belt segment and a pulley along the segment length.
normal_contact_force
Contact force between the belt segment and a pulley normal to the surface.
belt_tension
Local tension in the segment.
Trapezoidal Toothed Belts
land_axial_contact_force
Contact force between the land segment and a pulley along the segment length.
land_normal_contact_force
Contact force between the land segment and a pulley normal to the surface.
belt_tension
Local tension in the segment.
tooth_contact_force
Contact force between the tooth segment and a pulley tooth.
When you re-wrap the belt, Adams Machinery re-creates requests for all segments that also exist in the new belt.
