Create Pulleys - Material, Connection and Output

Machinery Create Pulley

For the option
Do the following
Material
Mass
Enter the mass of the pulley part.
The parts are located at the center of the pulley, with the z-axis as the rotational axis.
Inertia
Ixx/Iyy/Izz
Enter the values that define the principal mass-inertia components of the pulley part.
Ixy/Izx/Iyz
Enter the values that define the deviational (cross-product) mass-inertia components of the pulley part.
Connection
Type
Select one of the following:
Rotational
Compliant
Fixed
None
Rotational
The pulley and attachment part is connected with revolute joint.
Compliant
The pulley and attachment part is connected with Adams Bushing.
Fixed
The Pulley and attachment part is connected with fixed joint.
None
No joint is created between pulley and attachment part. You can create joint manually or put a bearing between pulley and attachment part.
Output
Motion
Select/Clear one or all of the following:
Angular Displacement
Angular Velocity
Angular Acceleration
Joint Force
Angular Displacement
It outputs the rotational displacement in model units of pulley(s) relative to the attachment part.
Angular Velocity
It outputs the rotational velocity in model units of pulley(s) relative to the attachment part.
Angular Acceleration
It outputs the rotational acceleration in model units of pulley(s) relative to the attachment part.
Joint Force
It outputs force or torque induced by a pulley joint on pulley(s) relative to the attachment part.
