cosin/tiretools

For the use of FTire, cosin scientific software provides a wide range of tools that support users in deriving FTire tire property files, analyzing tire characteristics, updating tire property files, creating and visualizing roads (such as RGR roads).

The cosin software for FTire needs to be installed separately. After the installation the environment COSIN_PREFIX needs to point to the location of the cosin software. If an environment COSIN_PREFIX is defined, the cosin/tools will become active in the Simulate menu.

For starting the cosin/tiretools within Adams Car, Select Simulate → Component Analysis → cosin/tiretools as shown in below.

The cosin scientific software interface will open as shown in below.
