Operating Point
A point at which Adams linearizes a model. Because, traditionally, Adams models involve nonlinear elements, you need to specify an operating point. To have an appropriate operating point, your system must meet the following two conditions:
■It must have more than one degree of freedom, so that it is capable of oscillation.
■The Jacobian matrix for the system must be time invariant.
