The CONTACT_DATA function returns either the minimum or maximum data component of the contract tracks in CONTACT/id. If a contact has only a single incident, then the maximum and minimum values will be the same.
Format
CONTACT_DATA (id, comp, flag)
Arguments
id | An integer specifying the identification number of the Adams CONTACT. |
comp | An integer value that specifies the component of the Contact Tracks to be returned. ■1- Penetration Depth ■2- Penetration Velocity ■3- Penetration Boring Velocity ■4- Slip Deformation magnitude ■5- Slip Velocity magnitude (Speed) |
flag | An integer flag specifying the maximum or minimum value of component is desired. ■0 = maximum ■1 = minimum |
Examples
REQUEST/1
, F2= CONTACT_DATA(11,1,0)/
, F3= CONTACT_DATA(11,4,1)/
, F4= CONTACT_DATA(11,4,0)
This REQUEST statement outputs the maximum penetration depth and the minimum and maximum slip deformation magnitude of CONTACT/11.
