Creating the Dyno
To finish the gearbox model, you create a dyno element that allows you to deliver either a torque or a rotational motion to the model. This dyno lets you run standard simulations in Adams Driveline Standard Interface.
To create the dyno:
1. From the Driveline Components menu, point to Dyno, and then select New.
2. Create the dyno with the following specifications:
■Dyno Name: dyno
■Attachment To: Part
■I Attachment Part: ges_input_shaft
■J Attachment Part: ground
■Coordinate Reference: cfs_input_shaft
■Dyno Type: Torque
■Function Type: Torque Demand
■Direction: Clockwise
■Active: On
■Geometry Scaling: 8
3. Select OK.
4. Save the template.
