Binary File Format

Setting File Format to Binary saves the file in a platform-independent binary format. Your template-based product reads binary-format files much faster than it reads ASCII, XML or EDS-format files. Therefore, opening templates in binary format, and subsystems that reference templates in binary format, is much faster.
