For the option: | Do the following: |
|---|---|
File Name | List the acf file candidates to be submitted to the external solver. By default, the list includes all acf files in the current working directory, and can be edited by the buttons to the right of the file table (see below). |
Time Stamp (.acf) | Shows the date and time stamp of the Adams (Solver) Command File. |
.res? | Indicates if a results file (extension “.res”) with the same file prefix exists. |
.req? | Indicates if a request file (extension “.req”) with the same file prefix exists |
.gra? | Indicates if a graphics file (extension “.gra”) with the same file prefix exists |
Time Stamp (.msg) | Indicates if a message file (extension “.msg”) with the same file prefix exists, and shows its date and time stamp. |
Assembly | Select the model under which you want to store the analysis. |
![]() | Opens the file browser prompting to selecting an acf file. This acf file will be added to the table. |
![]() | Opens the file browser prompting to selecting a directory. All acf files in that directory will be added to the table. |
![]() | Empties the table (single-click) or reverts its contents to the default state upon dialog display (that is, populated with the acf files in the current working directory – via double-click) |
![]() | Sorts the table in ascending (single-click) or descending (double-click) order by the selected column. If no or multiple rows are selected, no sorting will be performed. |
![]() | Refreshes the content of the data table by updating columns 2-5 from the file system and maximizes the width of the first column. |
Car Solver Cmd | By default, shows the (platfrom dependent) shell command used by the ACF runner to submit the solver runs. If you change this string, please make sure to keep the “<acf-filename>” placeholder. We recommend using single forward slashes “/” in this shell command, even on Windows. |
Reset | Restores and shows the session default Car Solver command |
Delete after Run | Select the output file extension(s) of the files you want to delete after each solver run. |
Number of Queues | Specify the number of concurrent execution queues to process the selected acf files. For every queue requested, Adams Solver will check out a set of necessary Adams licenses. It's the user's responsibility not to exceed the available license/token pool. |
Save | Saves the scripts (.bat on Windows, .csh on Linux) required to run the selected .acf files, but will not execute that script. |
Run | Runs the acf files in the selected rows sequentially in an external solver background process (the interface will remain functional). A command shell will pop up and show the progress of the solver execution. |
Load | Opens the Analysis Read dialog to allow importing the analysis files of the selected row. If no or multiple rows are selected, the dialog will not be shown. |
