Construction Frames

Construction frames contain both location and orientation information, and are the basic building blocks for many other components. When you need only location and no orientation information, hardpoints are the correct components to use.

Hardpoints and construction frames are also referred to as coordinate references.

You can define construction frames symmetrically. To easily locate and orient construction frames without having to worry about complex rotations and translations, you can use various options:

To create or modify a construction frame:

1. From the Build menu, point to Construction Frame, and then select New/Modify.

2. Press F1 and then follow the instructions in the dialog box help for Create/Modify Construction Frames.

3. Select OK.
