Gear Output

An Adams request (.model_name.ude_instance.REQ_SIMPLIFIED_Gear Name) will be created for each gear pair created with the Machinery Gear. This request measures among many things the total contact force, radial force, tangential force, axial force and torque.

If the standard output (Result Sets and Objects) is used, the same components are expressed in the global coordinate system (ground). For more information see Gear Output dialog box.
