Create/Modify Vibration Output Channel

Define the parameters for Output Channels.
Vibration -> Build -> Output Channel -> New/Modify
 
For the option:
Do the following:
Output Channel Name
Enter the name of the output channel you want to create or modify.
Output Function Type
Select one of the following:
■Predefined - Adams Vibration constructs the Adams Solver function for you, based on the information you enter in this dialog box.
■User - You construct and enter the output channel function in the Output Channel Function text box. To use Adams Solver functions, see the online help for Adams Solver.
If you set Output Function Type to Predefined, Adams Vibration displays the following options:
Output Marker
Enter the location of the output marker.
Global Component
Specify the type of coordinate system for your output channel.
Axis
Specify the axis for your output channel.
If you set Output Function type to User, Adams Vibration displays the following option:
Output Channel Function
Specify the function for your output channel. To create the function in the Function Builder, select .
