Linear Modes

Calculates eigenvalues and eigenvectors, which give you a better understanding of your system’s natural frequencies and mode shapes, respectively. You have the option of calculating these eigenvalues and eigenvectors with or without damping (undamped).

After the calculation is complete, you can choose to view an animation or a table of the values. If you select an animation, the Linear Modes Controls dialog box appears, letting you make other changes.
