For the option:
Do the following:
Measure Name
Enter the name of the measure.
To Point
Enter the marker or point to which to measure.
From Point
Enter the marker or point from which to measure.
Characteristic
Select the kinematic characteristic to be measured. The values you enter in the next text boxes depend on whether you select a translational or angular characteristics.
Component
Select the component in which you are interested. The components available depend on the coordinate system.
Cartesian/Cylindrical/Spherical
For translational characteristics only, set to the associated coordinate system (Cartesian, spherical, or cylindrical).
Represent Coordinates in
Specify:
A marker along whose axes the measure will be represented.
Leave blank to represent in the ground reference frame.
Do time derivatives in
(Available if you selected translational velocity, translational acceleration, or angular acceleration as the characteristic.)
You can:
Enter a marker representing the measure reference frame.
Leave blank to use ground as the reference frame.
Create Strip Chart
Select to display a Strip chart of the measure.
Select to set the attributes of the measure. Only available when you are modifying a measure. See Measure Attributes dialog box help.
