Previewing Flexible Body (Mesh Only)
The flexible body can be previewed in order to contribute to the visualization of the distribution and number of secondary nodes around the primary nodes. It will also help to evaluate the choices for the secondary node selection method and parameters.
To preview only the mesh of the flexible body without performing the modal analysis:
■Select the Flexbody Preview button.
ViewFlex generates a preview of the mesh of the flexible body, with spider webs between the attachment points and the secondary nodes.
After selecting Flexbody Preview, you can perform the full modal analysis (by clicking OK). You can also modify mesh parameters or the connection between primary nodes and the mesh. ViewFlex overwrites or deletes the temporary mesh according to your selection.
