Notes: | ■The .dat and .bdf files are now exported automatically to the working directory whenever you submit a ViewFlex run. ■Currently, you cannot determine the ID values of the attachment points, even if you set them in the ViewFlex dialog box. The export routine automatically renumbers all of the nodes of the mesh and assigns to the attachment nodes the first IDs available. In addition, if the RBE3 option is used to define connections between attachment nodes and mesh nodes, you must manually edit the Nastran statement to make them compatible with Superelement analysis required by the modal component synthesis. In fact, an RBE3 node is a dependent node, and it can be an independent node of a Superelement at the same time if you use the UM option. The exporting mesh routine does not support this option. ■Finally, you cannot import an exported mesh using the Import Mesh Method because it already contains attachment points and connections between primary and secondary nodes. |
