Adams Machinery > Belt > Introduction

Introduction

The Belt tab contains the Pulley Set, Belt and Actuation icons.
To access the Belt tab from the Adams View:
■Launch Adams View interface.
■Select Belt from Adams Machinery ribbon tab.
■Clicking the Pulley Set, Belt and Actuation would launch the corresponding creation wizard.
 
Notes:  
■Currently no more than 20 belt systems are allowed in any single model.
■Modelling of Adams Machinery Belt Constraint/2D Links/3D Links/Nonplanar/3D Simplified methods requires Adams_Machinery_Belt_GUI license. Whereas simulation of Belt 2D Links/3D Links/Nonplanar method requires Adams_Machinery_Belt_Solver license.
