Sprockets
The sprocket must reference a linear, nonlinear-chain component.
Sprocket Schematic Representation | Sprocket Geometry |
The component outputs the following results:
■Angular Displacement - Rotational displacement relative to the attachment part. Only active if the sprocket is not fixed.
■Angular Velocity - Angular velocity relative to the attachment part. Only active if the sprocket is not fixed.
■Angular Acceleration - Angular acceleration relative to the attachment part. Only active if the sprocket is not fixed.

Anchor
Anchors are needed to define Open loop chain configurations. They define the end points of the chain. Anchor location and Anchor connection part need to be provided for start anchor and end anchor in the respective anchor page.
The Anchor outputs the following results:
■Displacement - Displacement of anchor relative to the initial anchor position
■Velocity - Velocity of anchor relative to the initial anchor position.
■Acceleration - Acceleration of anchor relative to the initial anchor position.
■Force - Joint Force between anchor and its connection part.
