Overview

In this chapter you build and connect the parts of the toggle latch. You also verify that, you have created parts and connections properly. Once you have a valid model, you will proceed to test it in a realistic situation, as explained in Testing Your First Prototype.

Adams View assigns to the parts you create the material type of steel, with a material density of 7801.0 kg/m3.

You build the latch model in two basic sections:

Figure 1 shows the latch as it should look when you have finished it.
