Overview

One of the keys to successful modeling is to start gradually and add complexity to your model as you need it. We call this the crawl-walk-run approach. For example, the first time you simulate a new model, your primary concern may be its overall performance. As you refine your design, however, you can add complexity, such as the flexibility of key parts. Using Adams Flex and Adams View together, you can very easily add flexibility to your model after your initial design is complete, as shown in this tutorial. The tutorial also illustrates that often you cannot simulate a model until you add flexibility to it.
